Save the date! US-exclusive 'Kimono' editions in-store this Saturday!

When: Saturday, June 9th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Where: Topper Fine Jewelers at 1315 Burlingame Avenue in Burlingame, California

We've long been quite excited about our forthcoming in-store event with Grand Seiko this Saturday, as it'll be the first chance for fans and collectors in the Bay Area to check out all of Seiko's new Prospex, Presage, and Grand Seiko models from Baselworld 2018. This includes the SLA019 Marinemaster and SLA025 divers, along with the limited-edition Grand Seiko offerings like the SBGH267G pictured above, which celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the 9S Hi-Beat movement, or the SBGV238G pictured below, celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the 9F quartz movement. The display back on the latter is not to be missed!

Also expect to see the sporty new titanium and ceramic SBGJ229 Spring Drive GMT offering

But the ante's been upped – Grand Seiko USA Vice President Rusty Rowlands will also be on hand to present not only the Baselworld novelties, but the all-new USA-exclusive 'Kimono' watches unveiled this past weekend at Couture Time in Las Vegas – a collection so new, it doesn't even have official pricing or reference numbers yet!

The USA-exclusive trio in platinum (front), rose gold (middle), and stainless steel (back), with dials inspired by silk Kabuki kimono (robes), each slated for extremely limited production (official numbers, pricing, and references, all TBD). While the stainless steel variant will be fitted with Grand Seiko's standard 9R65 Spring Drive calibre, the precious metal variants will carry the 9R15, which is regulated to achieve an even greater degree of accuracy: +/- 10 seconds per month.

The subtly ice-blue "Kimono" dial with the stainless steel case is certain to be the most popular of the three

As always, no RSVP is necessary to attend this particular event, but we'd greatly appreciate a quick note to info@topperjewelers.com if you plan to attend, to better help us prepare. Hope to see you there!
