The Nomos Glashutte Tangente 38 for Topper Fine Jewelers 75th Anniversary is here! Unlike most watches we write about where we interpret the design intentions of the manufacturer, this piece came about as a collaborative design effort between me, my brother Russ, and the design team at Nomos. read article >

After a long wait, the BALL Engineer Hydrocarbon AeroGMT has finally hit U.S. authorized dealers. • The Heritage Diver 1967

    Date posted: 12-01-2015

The Heritage series has consistently been my favorite part of the Longines collection for as long as I've been working at Topper. It's been a few years since we've had interesting bronze watches at Topper Fine Jewelers. Back in the mid 2000's, we added an Italian brand (Anonimo) just as they were completing their first few runs of bronze-cased watches. The most popular for us was the Polluce, which was a bronze version of a robust dive watch. read article >

  • SBGA011 vs SBGA059: Snowflake Showdown II

    Date posted: 11-10-2015

The SBGA011 "Snowflake" has been our best selling Grand Seiko model in our first few months as a dealer. Inspired by the "Snowflake Showdown" on Watchuseek that compared the SBGA011 to a Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) version that features three arabic markers, we thought we'd do another showdown between the SBGA011 and the SBGA059 "boutique edition". read article >

  • The 2015 Glashutte Original PanoMaticLunar and PanoReserve

    Date posted: 11-10-2015

This year at Baselworld, Glashutte Original announced new variations to both the PanoMaticLunar and PanoReserve models for the first time since they were redesigned in 2012. While fans of the brand are certainly familiar with the "Pano" watches, what makes them unique from the rest of the Glashutte Original collection is the way that they feature offset dials and either a... read article >
