This stunning Special Edition celebrates Seiko’s official partnership with PADI, the world’s leading scuba diver training operation, particularly in the distinctive patterned and gradated blue dial reflecting the surface of the ocean as seen from under water as the sunlight reaches through the waves on the surface. With a magnified day/date calendar, the dial also features LumiBrite hands and markers with a unique blue glow recalling signature PADI colors, while vibrant blue accents on the blue ceramic uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel continue the PADI theme.

Following ISO standards for scuba diving, this exceptionally durable timepiece offers a rugged stainless steel case and bracelet based on one of Seiko’s most iconic diving styles, screwdown crown and caseback, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, and a tri-fold push button release clasp with secure lock and extender. For reliable timing in rough waters, the 24-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 41 hours, and offers manual winding capability.
