Extended Warranty
Toppers is excited to offer a free extended warranty on the purchase of new watches. This warranty begins when the manufacturer's warranty runs out. As such, Topper Fine Jewelers will provide an additional non-transferable warranty for a period of one year.*
*Restrictions Apply. Service provided anywhere other than at Topper Fine Jewelers or a service center of the original manufacturer is not covered and shall void the warranty. Topper Fine Jewelers will have sole discretion to determine whether the work for the warranty will be performed "in house" by Topper Fine Jewelers or at a repair facility of our choice. The limited warranty does not cover bracelets, crystals, batteries, or any damage to the case or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply, on a more general basis, if there is evidence of misuse or abuse. Only Topper Fine Jewelers will determine at its sole discretion to repair any watch under this warranty.
Bremont's newest mechanical chronometer is called the ‘Bremont ionBird’, produced in collaboration with Rolls-Royce, whose next-generation 'Spirit of Innovation' aircraft aims become the fastest electric plane in history. This new watch celebrates that partnership, and will be worn by the plane's test pilots during the development and record-breaking flights.
The Bremont ionBird uses a lightweight aviation grade titanium 43mm case and houses a BE-93-2AV chronometer rated GMT movement which is safely cushioned against shock using Bremont’s proprietary ‘Anti-Shock’ technology inside the case. The two time zones are clearly displayed on the very readable dials, and there is a nod back to the early days of aviation with the vintage feel numerals and bronze hands. The watch is presented on Bremont's own three-link titanium bracelet.
In addition to the watch itself, as the project's official timing partner, Bremont was also involved in the design of the plane’s cockpit which will be equipped with a Bremont stopwatch, and the company has supplied machined canopy release parts from its own Henley-on-Thames manufacturing facility.
