A brooding, Boutique-Exclusive Planet Ocean

The mighty Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Chronograph remains a purpose-built specimen with few peers. Hewn from an imposing 45.5mm stainless steel case and finished with a uniquely finished dial, this special reference is only available in official Omega Boutiques, including Topper Jewelers. A LiquidMetal ceramic rotating bezel with a highly legible diving scale encircles the bold display, which includes hands and indexes generously filled with a Swiss Super-LumiNova. Unique to the Planet Ocean Chronograph, and underscoring its purpose-built underwater utility, the pushers on this reference may be actuated underwater.

For this chronograph model, the 45.50 mm case is crafted in brushed stainless steel and features pushers with brushed silicon nitride ceramic rings color-matched to the dial. The same bronze colour is used for the brushed silicon nitride ceramic bezel ring with its diving scale in liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova.

Powered by the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900, this Seamaster Planet Ocean is worn on an integrated beige rubber strap with a structured pattern and white stitching. The NAIAD LOCK caseback is completed with a metallized seahorse on the sapphire crystal — a further nod to the original Planet Ocean references and beyond.

As the name makes clear, Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M is water resistant to 600 metres and includes the essential manual helium-escape valve at 11:00 — a crucial feature for professionals working in helium-saturated diving environments.

About Omega

Founded in 1848, innovative watchmaking has long remained the cornerstone of Omega's incredible heritage, but the Bienne maker's modern legacy is driven forward through innovations in sports timekeeping, its conquests of outer space and the deep sea with the legendary Speedmaster and Seamaster respectively, along with advocacy on behalf of worthy organizations. All this, in addition to the brand's enviable role in support of the world’s most famous super-spy: James Bond.
