Toppers is excited to offer a free extended warranty on the purchase of new watches. This warranty begins when the manufacturer's warranty runs out. As such, Topper Fine Jewelers will provide an additional non-transferable warranty for a period of one year.*
*Restrictions Apply. Service provided anywhere other than at Topper Fine Jewelers or a service center of the original manufacturer is not covered and shall void the warranty. Topper Fine Jewelers will have sole discretion to determine whether the work for the warranty will be performed "in house" by Topper Fine Jewelers or at a repair facility of our choice. The limited warranty does not cover bracelets, crystals, batteries, or any damage to the case or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply, on a more general basis, if there is evidence of misuse or abuse. Only Topper Fine Jewelers will determine at its sole discretion to repair any watch under this warranty.
The ultimate pilot watch, torture-tested to the extreme
The new MB Viper Limited Edition is Bremont's most rigorously tested watch ever, full stop. It's saying a lot, considering the long running MB (Martin Baker) collection of pilot watches have forged a reputation for British maker as a supplier of ultra-rugged, ultra-capable cockpit instruments capable of withstanding the most challenging and dynamic environments on the planet. In keeping with those traditions, the newly designed MB Viper and its titanium & anodized aluminum chassis introduces a more instrumental, industrial concept to its aesthetic, along with a fresh battery of torture tests with the aim of having the ENG300 manufacture calibre earn its stripes in the skies.
To test Bremont’s manufactured movement series, the ENG300, the British watchmaker created a special testing carriage in order to subject it to a battery of tests that would equal that of fighter ejection seat technology. Enlisting the support of renowned British aviation company Martin-Baker, the final watch would have to be designed, developed and built to endure anything a pilot might and more. The unique shape of the watch itself originates from the special mount engineered by Bremont, designed to securely fix the ENG300 movement Test Instrument in place whilst being subjected to HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) – a number of rigorous tests completed in the laboratory by Martin-Baker, including prolonged extreme temperature (heat and cold) exposure, a salt fog aircraft carrier deck test, and of course, the Martin-Baker signature: a live ejection simulation, which tests both resistance to g-forces along with exposure to extreme altitudes.
The end result? The most exhaustively tested Bremont to date, and the ultimate MB pilot watch. Limited to 300 pieces.
