Available exclusively in the U.S. market, this extraordinary Seiko Prospex LX Special Edition has been inspired by the green aurora effect visible around the earth’s polar regions from space, with its sunray dial featuring a dramatic gradation from black to green to evoke the darkness of space and the dark side of the earth as illuminated by this spectacular phenomenon.
Crafted of light and durable titanium with a super-hard coating, this superbly reliable watch features a sapphire crystal with super-clear coating, as well as a screwdown caseback and crown, and a tri-fold push button release clasp. Included on the dial are a power reserve indicator, date calendar, and LumiBrite hands and markers. The yellow GMT hand, along with the black and sapphire green rotating GMT bezel marked in 24 one-hour increments, permits easy second-time zone viewing.
Providing exceptional precision, the Spring Drive GMT movement, with its Tri-synchro regulator, combines a 30-jewel automatic movement with the quartz regulator for accuracy to +/- 1 second per day, +/- 15 seconds per month. Offering a power reserve of approximately 72 hours, the movement also includes manual winding capability.
