Extended Warranty
Toppers is excited to offer a free extended warranty on the purchase of new watches. This warranty begins when the manufacturer's warranty runs out. As such, Topper Fine Jewelers will provide an additional non-transferable warranty for a period of one year.*
*Restrictions Apply. Service provided anywhere other than at Topper Fine Jewelers or a service center of the original manufacturer is not covered and shall void the warranty. Topper Fine Jewelers will have sole discretion to determine whether the work for the warranty will be performed "in house" by Topper Fine Jewelers or at a repair facility of our choice. The limited warranty does not cover bracelets, crystals, batteries, or any damage to the case or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply, on a more general basis, if there is evidence of misuse or abuse. Only Topper Fine Jewelers will determine at its sole discretion to repair any watch under this warranty.
Crystalline blade patterns forged in hardened titanium
Drawing design inspiration from the tsuba iron guard of traditional Japanese swords, this limited-edition MR-G pairs deep-hardened titanium with precise hand-chiseled metalwork by third-generation artisan KOBAYASHI Masao. The bezel features a hand-engraved phoenix motif set against a dark blue-green kurogane-iro tone, achieved through a green DLC coating over treated titanium. Four bezel-set emeralds anchor the frame, complemented by subtle color gradations across the dial ring that mirror the movement of the mythic bird.
The titanium case undergoes a heat-crystallization process to create a textured surface reflecting the nie grain along a forged blade. Finished with a protective brown AIP (Arc Ion Plating) coating for a coppery tone, the housing incorporates a Clad Guard Structure to protect the crown and pushers. A dark green Dura Soft rubber strap provides long-term resistance to wear and discoloration, secured by a titanium clasp finished with the same deep-hardened coating as the case.
Driven by Tough Solar power, the internal movement integrates Bluetooth smartphone connectivity alongside Multi Band 6 radio-controlled time adjustment. The dial layout presents dual-time sub-dials, daily alarm indicators, and a full auto-calendar beneath a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Engineered with magnetic resistance and 200-meter water resistance, the timepiece unifies traditional Japanese metalcraft with advanced horological mechanics.
