TOPPER EXTENDED GUARANTEE
Extended Warranty
Toppers is excited to offer a free extended warranty on the purchase of new watches. This warranty begins when the manufacturer's warranty runs out. As such, Topper Fine Jewelers will provide an additional non-transferable warranty for a period of one year.*
*Restrictions Apply. Service provided anywhere other than at Topper Fine Jewelers or a service center of the original manufacturer is not covered and shall void the warranty. Topper Fine Jewelers will have sole discretion to determine whether the work for the warranty will be performed "in house" by Topper Fine Jewelers or at a repair facility of our choice. The limited warranty does not cover bracelets, crystals, batteries, or any damage to the case or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply, on a more general basis, if there is evidence of misuse or abuse. Only Topper Fine Jewelers will determine at its sole discretion to repair any watch under this warranty.
Grand Seiko's award-winning dial is now available with a 9F movement
Originally launched in 2018, the Grand Seiko "Kira-zuri" trio quickly became one of the brand's signature dials. But now for the first time, the stunning dial treatment has inspired the new SBGP017, a limited-edition 9F-quartz powered reference, which is equipped with an exhibition caseback, enabling the wearer to fully appreciate the degree of precision and detail that goes into Grand Seiko's obsession with creating a stunning'y accurate, and highly beautiful quartz movement. This reference is built around a 40mm stainless steel case which exhibits a sharp curve so that more light reflects off it and adds to the “sparkle of quality” that is an essential part of the Grand Seiko Style.
Inspired by a Japanese painting technique called Kira-zuri, true to its translation “sparkling painting”, the lustrous dial takes a life of its own. Commonly found in ukiyo-e paintings to create texture to the background of Kabuki actors, the inspired technique adds depth and excitement to the timepiece in movement and light. As with all Grand Seiko models, modern models pave their own path with their own unique characteristics, manufacturing methods and calibers, but in some way, always pay tribute to the past.
This special Limited Edition is powered by Grand Seiko's state-of-the-art 9F85 quartz movement, which delivers incredible simplicity and precision — encapsulating the very essence of a Grand Seiko watch. Unique to this high-torque calibre, is its instant date change mechanism, improved second hand precision for greater positional accuracy on the dial against the markers, and a fully sealed movement design which improves the retention of lubricating oils. The 9F calibre is one of the world's few quartz movements that deserve to be seen through an exhibition caseback, and this Limited Edition SBGP017 is happy to accommodate.
