TOPPER EXTENDED GUARANTEE
Extended Warranty
Toppers is excited to offer a free extended warranty on the purchase of new watches. This warranty begins when the manufacturer's warranty runs out. As such, Topper Fine Jewelers will provide an additional non-transferable warranty for a period of one year.*
*Restrictions Apply. Service provided anywhere other than at Topper Fine Jewelers or a service center of the original manufacturer is not covered and shall void the warranty. Topper Fine Jewelers will have sole discretion to determine whether the work for the warranty will be performed "in house" by Topper Fine Jewelers or at a repair facility of our choice. The limited warranty does not cover bracelets, crystals, batteries, or any damage to the case or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply, on a more general basis, if there is evidence of misuse or abuse. Only Topper Fine Jewelers will determine at its sole discretion to repair any watch under this warranty.
A next-gen JB200 inspired by a French landmark
Like its predecessor, the Jacques Bianchi JB200 Marégraphe II pays homage to the Marseille tide gauge. Erected in 1883 on the Corniche Kennedy, this discreet building is one of France's most important scientific sites. It is here that the zero point of the national leveling system is defined: the reference for all French altitudes, from the level of the Mediterranean to the summit of Mont Blanc. For over a century, the Marégraphe has also measured the evolution of the average sea level — a privileged witness to the transformations of the Mediterranean coastline. This heritage remains at the heart of the new creation. Tradition endures, the watch evolves.
The Marégraphe II watch brings together all the developments Jacques Bianchi Marseille has implemented over the past two years, including a redesigned case. And with this new case comes a re-engineered construction with sharper lines, more precise transitions, more pronounced chamfers, and a slightly beveled bezel, all in a "destro" left-handed crown configuration – a longstanding feature inherited from purpose-built diver and military issue watches.
The Marégraphe II also features the brand's first enameled dial: twenty successive layers of enamel for a rare visual depth on a tool watch. Beneath the translucent surface, a wave pattern revealed by a specially developed sunray finish; depending on the angle of the light, sometimes a calm sea, sometimes the Mediterranean catching the sun. And finally, for the first time at Jacques Bianchi Marseille, the dial's eleven hour indexes are individually machined and then applied to the dial, creating a true relief, with more light for even more precise readability.
The Jacques Bianchi JB200 continues the traditions established by the military-issue variants of the 1980s, and features a 42mm case, proportions that allow a professional diving watch to remain highly legible without becoming ostentatious. It is crafted in a 316L stainless steel case, animated by alternating brushed and polished finishes. Its automatic movement beating within, is equipped with 25 jewels and operates at 4 Hz with a 42-hour power reserve, ensures reliability and autonomy in any diving environment.
