Explore the Dark Side

Honouring Omega's legacy of space exploration, this Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon features a 44.25 mm case in polished-brushed black ceramic. The polished bezel is also made from black ceramic and features a tachymeter scale in Liquidmetal™.

Beneath the front sapphire crystal, the ceramic dial has been sand-blasted by laser and includes a small-seconds display at 9H, and a 60-minute and 12-hour recorder at 3H. The hour and minute hands, as well as the bevelled indexes, are all blackened and filled with black Super-LumiNova (green emission). The central chronograph hand is red varnished for a distinctive appearance.

Visible through the caseback, Omega's manual-winding Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908 has been given a special “black edition” finish, which includes stealthy, matte-blackened plates and bridges, as well as black varnished engravings. The watch is worn on a black rubber strap with a lunar surface pattern on the underside, a ceramic foldover clasp, and ceramised titanium frame-spring folders.

About Omega

Founded in 1848, innovative watchmaking has long remained the cornerstone of Omega's incredible heritage, but the Bienne maker's modern legacy is driven forward through innovations in sports timekeeping, its conquests of outer space and the deep sea with the legendary Speedmaster and Seamaster respectively, along with advocacy on behalf of worthy organizations. All this, in addition to the brand's enviable role in support of the world’s most famous super-spy: James Bond.
