The next-generation Ressence Type 11 is a contemporary watch built around a considered, consolidated design that feels both familiar and unique, yet unmistakably Ressence. At its core is a groundbreaking milestone for the Belgian indie: the Ressence Werk RW-01, the first mechanical movement designed and developed in-house by Ressence.

Configured specifically to power the ROCS (the patented Ressence Orbital Convex System pioneered by Ressence), this new movement creates a true integration between power plant and display. The TYPE 11 is the Belgian brand’s most complete watch, fusing a number of traditional elements with the maker's own distinct design language. Here, we have a patented power-reserve indication, a patented time display, a caseback window to observe the movement, a caseback lever for manual winding and time-setting, and 30 meters of water resistance, ensuring easy, everyday wear. 

And speaking of easy wear, the Type 11's 41mm Grade 5 titanium case features lugs and a round, pebble-shaped silhouette — classical proportions that give the watch a refined presence on the wrist. A domed sapphire crystal sits above the convex titanium dial, where Ressence’s signature ROCS rotating discs display hours, minutes, and seconds without hands, crown, or conventional indices. 

Lastly, the Type 11's generous 60-hour power reserve means the watch can be taken off on Friday evening and still be running on Monday morning. To keep track of power levels, Ressence developed a patented indication using a string of tiny ceramic balls, in two contrasting lines which provide an intuitive and whimsical visual gauge. As the movement winds, whether through the automatic rotor on the wrist or manual winding via the caseback, the lighter balls progressively emerge while the darker ones recede. When the watch is at rest and power depletes, the process reverses.
