TOPPER EXTENDED GUARANTEE
Extended Warranty
Toppers is excited to offer a free extended warranty on the purchase of new watches. This warranty begins when the manufacturer's warranty runs out. As such, Topper Fine Jewelers will provide an additional non-transferable warranty for a period of one year.*
*Restrictions Apply. Service provided anywhere other than at Topper Fine Jewelers or a service center of the original manufacturer is not covered and shall void the warranty. Topper Fine Jewelers will have sole discretion to determine whether the work for the warranty will be performed "in house" by Topper Fine Jewelers or at a repair facility of our choice. The limited warranty does not cover bracelets, crystals, batteries, or any damage to the case or movement caused by moisture that might have entered the watch as a result of improper handling, nor does it apply, on a more general basis, if there is evidence of misuse or abuse. Only Topper Fine Jewelers will determine at its sole discretion to repair any watch under this warranty.
A continued evolution of Seiko's original Diver's Watch
Ever since Seiko’s first diver’s watch was introduced in 1965, the company has continuously pushed back the boundaries of what diver’s watches can offer. This modern re-interpretation continues that evolution, presented on a new specially designed fabric strap manufactured expressly for diver's use. This watch strikes the perfect balance of design and function and embodies the innovative spirit for which Seiko’s diver’s watchmaking is renowned.
The fabric strap fitted to this Dive Watch incorporates a traditional braiding technique from Japan called Seichu, whose rich texture and color complexion is familiar in Japanese culture for their use in fabric designs, as seen in a traditional “obijime,” the decorative cord that holds a Kimono sash in its place. The strap presents a uniquely Japanese aesthetic and texture and is specially manufactured to have a tensile strength nearly four times that of regular Seiko fabric straps. Further, its strength and resistance to degradation caused by exposure to sunlight, meet the demanding standards of Seiko’s diver’s watches and are perfect for use under water.
