In collaboration with legendary Tokyo hangout Star Bar, this new Seiko Presage Cocktail Time watch is inspired by the beautiful scenery of Tokyo by night. The dial of each watch interprets the “Night-time Tokyo,” an original cocktail created by Star Bar owner Hisashi Kishi, the first bartender to receive Japan’s prestigious “Contemporary Master Craftsman” award. Tokyo’s sophisticated evening lights, which Kishi captured in a cocktail glass, are now distilled in a beautiful watch dial.
The dial’s delicate pattern and the slightly lighter grey gradation toward the centre contrast with the gold-coloured hands and indexes, expressing the beautiful night view of Tokyo with its myriad high-rise buildings. The caseback is marked with the words “Limited Edition” and the serial number, and each watch comes in a special limited-edition box.
