Inspired by the art of travelling in style, the Pilot Big Date Flyback Porter is the result of a collaboration between Zenith and Japanese bag brand Porter. Originally conceived for aviators, this limited-edition khaki ceramic watch is powered by the El Primero 3652 automatic high-frequency chronograph calibre, which is endowed with the big-date display and the flyback function for easy readability and reset at the push of a button. Orange and white details on the dial, along with black PVD steel pushers and crown, add contrast. This piece includes a matching messenger bag designed by Porter exclusively for this collaboration. 

This Pilot Big Date Flyback Porter Yoshida edition is built around a 42.5mm olive drab green ceramic case, adopting an achromatic, utilitarian look with luminescent white markers and orange contrasting boldly against the tonal green corrugated dial. Beyond its striking contrast and easy legibility, the oversized date display in the Pilot Big Date Flyback features a next-gen patented compliant mechanism that advances and stabilizes both of the big date’s wheels in less than 0.03 seconds. Originally conceived for aviators who wore thick sheepskin gloves, the flyback function allows the chronograph function to be reset to zero and restarted by a single push of a button, simplifying the pilot’s operations and offering the possibility to record consecutive times without stopping. The El Primero chronograph calibre with its “artificial horizon” rotor is visible through the display back.
