WHAT TO EXPECT:

This year’s slate of timepieces is full of color and character, with Zenith and Czapek celebrating anniversaries, and Oris, Doxa, and Bell & Ross reimagining classics. Bremont and Breitling continue to pursue purpose-built perfection with new releases driven by aviation and automotive passion, while Grand Seiko, Omega, and Nomos Glashütte add new innovations to crowd-pleasing favorites.

In total, virtually every major brand that Topper represents will be in attendance at this special show concept, each with something special to share with you — be it the newest novelties themselves, special gifts with purchase, or direct insight, passion, and expertise from the brand's own representatives and leadership teams. It's a rare chance to get this level of access to both product and personality outside of Switzerland, so read on below for a brief overview on what you could expect from a number of brands who'll be exhibiting.

OMEGA

While absent at Watches and Wonders, Omega hasn’t been twiddling its thumbs, announcing a model in their iconic and imitable Speedmaster line. The new Speedmaster Meteorite Double Moonphase brings all the classic handsome styling of its predecessors, along with a moonphase complication (with an indicator for each hemisphere) and a dazzling meteorite dial. The hands on both the dial and the two black-coated subdials are 18k white gold, and the stark colorway is complimented by a polished black ceramic bezel. Underneath it all beats OMEGA’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer 9914 manual winding chronograph calibre, which boasts METAS certification.

The whole package is wrapped in a 316L stainless steel case, measuring at 43mm in diameter and 48.6mm lug-to-lug, promising versatile styling and the capable, adventurous personality that the Speedmaster line has cultivated voer the decades. The moonphase subdial at 6 o’clock and the meteorite dial in particular warrant a closer look in person at First Look.

ZENITH

In celebration of 160 years in the watchmaking business and as tribute to its founder, Georges Favre-Jaco, Zenith has unveiled the G.F.J. Calibre 135. With a dazzling lapiz lazuli face, a mother-of-pearl small seconds counter subdial, and a “brick” guilloche pattern on the outer ring of the dial—meant to represent the façade of the Zenith Manufacture—the chronometry-focused G.F.J. gives the appearance of an ethereal night sky, aided by a stunning 39mm platinum case and white gold hands and indexes. It also serves as a reintroduction of the Calibre 135 movement, originally produced from 1949 to 1962 and re-engineered in the G.F.J. with all new components. The guilloche pattern is also etched onto the movement itself—a clever detail that will surely require a closer look.

But the G.F.J. wasn’t the only Zenith to join in on the anniversary festivities. The new Blue Ceramic Chronograph Trilogy, based on the standard Chronomaster Sport, Defy Skyline Chronograph, and Pilot from Zenith’s catalog, also burst onto the scene; all three watches feature a bold blue ceramic case and all the impressive functionality of their predecessors.

Whichever cerulean timepiece strikes your fancy, you can find them all at Topper First Look.

GRAND SEIKO

We don’t see a lot of snow in Burlingame, but we can all appreciate the stunning, subtle beauty of a forest blanketed in white. With the new SLGB003 (part of the Evolution 9 collection), Grand Seiko has brought us a new, evocative “ice forest” dial design—inspired by the frost-covered trees of the Kirigamine Highlands—in a compact and sporty 37 mm case constructed of 950 platinum or high-intensity titanium, respectively.

The real star of the show, though, is the new Spring Drive U.F.A. movement. A state-of-the-art caliber, Spring Drive movements power a proprietary “tri-synchro” regulator with energy stored in a mainspring rather than in a lever escapement, producing a smooth-sweeping seconds hand and the highest level of accuracy possible. U.F.A. stands for “Ultra Fine Accuracy”, a designation that alludes to the jaw-dropping annual accuracy rate of ± 20 seconds.

After admiring the power of the Spring Drive U.F.A. movement and feeling the chill of the “ice forest” dial up close at First Look, be sure to also take a peek at the micro-adjust bracelet clasp on the SLGB003—it’s a first for the legendary Japanese Brand!

PARMIGIANI FLEURIER

With an ever-present attention to fine detail and an affinity for subtle aesthetic flair, Parmigiani Fleurier is back with three new references that showcase the craftsmanship and artistry the brand is known for.

First up is a new Morning Blue Toric Perpetual Calendar, which takes the usually outsized complication and minimizes it to two subdials at the 4 and 8 o’clock positions. The extra space allows for the Morning Blue dial to shine, and gives the watch a sense of breathtaking minimalism without sacrificing the functionality of its perpetual calendar system. The “PF” logo at 12 o’clock adds additional balance, and the sharp silver details and fluted bezel add elegance and character. The PF733 movement is showcased through the display back and decorated with a Côtes-de-Fleurier finishing.

Two new models in the Tonda PF line round out Parmigiani’s offerings. The Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante Verzasca adds a new shade of green to the best-selling platform, inspired by bodies of water in the Verzasca Valley of Switzerland. For those with sportier inclinations, the Tonda PF Sport Chronograph now wears a new Ultra-Cermet case—the first in the world—and a Milano Blue and dark gray color scheme. Both of these Tonda PF additions should bring a new air of excitement to familiar silhouettes, and further elevate both models.

All three new Parmigiani models offer something innovative and fresh, while continuing to bolster the high standards of quality and design that have come to be synonymous with the brand.

BREITLING

If you eschew the glitz and glamor of Formula 1 for the raw fury of rally racing, then the new Breitling Top Time B01 Racing is for you. Featuring a sporty steel cushion case that measures a 38mm in diameter and 44.4 mm lug-to-lug for maximum comfort, the Top Time Racing’s “dashboard” dual-chronograph dial design brings you right into the cockpit of a rally car, sans the danger. The contrasting tachymeter scale allows for precise speed measurements at a glance, and the Breitling 01 mechanical movement can be controlled through the use of the crown and mushroom pushers, giving the Top Time Racing a robust feature-set perfect for thrilling motorsportds adventures.

Three models are available: with two standard rally-inspired pieces in green-and-white and black-and-white colorways, and a limited collaboration with legendary motorsports juggernaut Martini Racing. While all three models feature crisp, contrasting designs, the Martini Edition wears the colors of the band’s iconic livery, making it a surefire win for motorsports fans. Every Top Time Racing model comes on a perforated leather strap that mimics the look of vintage racing gloves—a cheeky nod from Breitling that further elevates the lineup’s connection to the automotive world.

BREMONT

Bremont is back to business—that business being ejection seat testing, of course. With a new high-performance movement, bracelet, convex bezel, and multi-level dial detailing, the Altitude MB Meteor, 39 Date, and Chronograph GMT promise that you can have style and function in equal measure while you soar through the air. The re-engineered Trip-Tick case is thinner with reduced lug-to-lug distance, and features the anti-shock and anti-magnetic resistance that’s ever-important for a watch built to be bruised and battered in stressful aviation environments.

The Altitude MB Meteor brings back many of the details that have become hallmarks for Bremont, including the twin crowns at 2 and 4 o’clock, the latter of which rotates the bi-directional inner Roto-Click bezel. Beating away underneath the MB Meteor and 39 Date is a La Joux Perret-sourced LJP-G100 movement, while the Chronograph GMT is powered by a Chronometer-rated Sellita 530-a movement. Both the 39 Date and the MB Meteor carry the ejector seat pull tab counterbalance on the seconds hand, and the 39 Date and Chronograph GMT models are housed in 904L steel cases.

Each new Altitude watch can be had with either a black or a silver dial, and will surely have something to offer for every daring pilot (or contented passenger).

SINGER REIMAGINED

The Singer Group’s biggest release of 2024 wasn’t a retro-mod Porsche—it was their Reimagined 1969 line of automotive-inspired timepieces. At the start of 2025, however, they upped the ante even more with new limited-edition Heritage Collection Chronograph models, which bring the brand’s knack for vintage restoration to their watch division vis-à-vis a cleverly worked Caliber SR 2361 handwound chronograph movement, built from new-old-stock examples of the Valjoux 236. Each Heritage Chronograph features a 38.8mm bezel-less stainless steel case with tapered lug, and can be had in three iconic dial colorways: silver, olive green, and black. Each Heritage Chronograph features aesthetic cues straight from Singer’s automotive projects, including orange hands and a fluted gold outer chapter ring that calls to mind the sleek gauge clusters of their custom Porsche builds.

Singer’s successful foray into the world of watchmaking is as impressive as an air-cooled Porsche 911, and the new Heritage Chronograph line, limited to 100 pieces for each model, best exemplifies the brand’s engineering breadth and ability to wow.

CZAPEK

Looking for something out of the ordinary with a little visual flair? Czapek’s new Antarctique Tourbillon showcases a brand new pattern, aptly called Singularité in reference to the point in which the laws of physics start to go out the window (think the singularity point in the creation of a black hole). This pattern adorns the dial of the Antarctique Tourbillon, creating a visual trick—the pattern has no starting point, giving it the illusion of sloping down forever into an unseen conclusion. Still, this impressive artistry manages not to distract from the mechanics beneath; Czapek’s new in-house Caliber 9 movement beats with the help of an open-worked flying tourbillon regulator. The tourbillon, gear train, and barrel are all aligned on the vertical axis and visible on the dial side, appearing to float atop the Singularité spiral. The result is dizzying and dazzling in equal measure.

The Antarctique Tourbillon’s launch marks ten years since the revival of the brand, and 180 years since the founding of the namesake watchmaking maison. Glacier Blue and Photon Sphere variants round out the lineup while a Secret Alloy model, limited to 50 pieces, caps off the trio. Come experience the Singularité for yourself at Topper First Look.

ORIS

We all know that Oris isn’t one to shy away from bright and cheerful colors—Kermit and Miss Piggy would agree—and the Holstein maker has started 2025 with even more hues to choose from. These new dial additions join the completely overhauled Big Crown Pointer Date line where you'll also find a modernized case design and dial aesthetic, bright new dial colors, as well as two new references powered by the maker's flagship Calibre 403. These Calibre 403 models boast a whopping power reserve of 120 hours, and feature a subsidiary seconds hand that sweeps around a subdial above the 6 o’clock position.

The iconic Big Crown collection (named for the, well, big crown meant to ease manipulation of the watch for pilots with gloves on) is arguably Oris’ most recognizable line, and the pointer date complication has been employed by the brand for nearly 90 years. Adding dazzling pops of color to an otherwise business-like category of watch is exactly what we expect from Oris, in the best way.

KING SEIKO

Seiko will be bringing a full suite of new 2025 references to First Look, including the epic new King Seiko VANAC line, a bold, integrated bracelet collection which has been resurrected more than 50 years after its launch. There are five new references in total — including a limited edition model with a brown dial, and five non-limited models in purple, dark blue, and two silver colorways, each, inspired by the city of Tokyo at different hours of the day. All new VANAC models feature an angular stainless steel case measuring 41mm in diameter with LumiBrite on the hands and indexes. The sporty dial design is characterized by a unique stepped pattern, an outer ring that houses chunky hour markers, and a date window at the 3 o’clock position.

Whether you’re looking for function, style, or a mix of both, there's a whole lot of exciting new watches to explore from Seiko at First Look.

NOMOS GLASHUTTE

In pursuit of the perfect timepiece for the stylish world traveler, Nomos has combined the most aesthetically-pleasing details of their Club Sport line with a robust worldtimer function to create the Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer. Available in two standard models—with blue or silver metallic dials—or in six limited-edition styles, the Worldtimer is bolstered by 24 time zones represented by codes on the “city disk” that encircles the dial, a 24-hour display at 3 o’clock, and 100 meters of water resistance. Clocking in at 9.9 mmm, the Worldtimer is also one of the thinnest Worldtimers ever made, according to Nomos.

Check out the Club Sport Neomatik Worldtimer lineup and see which destination calls to you at Topper First Look.

DOXA

Doxa is making a splash early in 2025 with their new SUB 250T GMT collection. Nine colors, ranging from a bright yellow to a classy sea emerald green, round out the lineup, and each SUB 250T GMT can be had on a beads-of-rice bracelet or a color-matched rubber strap (with ratcheting wetsuit extension), bringing the total to eighteen different references. Inspired by the SUB 750T GMT released by Doxa in 2006, the new GMTs feature a 40mm stainless steel case and 250 meters of water resistance, while the GMT hand tracks a second time zone. The new SUB 250T GMT is a watch of dualities — handsome and sporty, ideal for adventures both dry and otherwise, and capable of traversing multiple time zones.

FEARS

Fears started 2025 off with a wave of brilliant special editions and novelties — including our very own Redcliff 'Confetti' Burlingame Edition — but they’ve also treated us to a brand new watch family. The Arnos, based on designs from the brand’s historic backlog and named after the Arnos Vale neighborhood in Bristol, UK where Fears is headquartered, brings an elegant, art deco-esque style to the Fears lineup. The rectangular steel case is 33.5mm across the center with a 40mm lug-to-lug measurement, and features a sunken Pewter Blue center dial with Roman numerals and Fears’ signature pipette hands. Filling out the rest of the rectangle (which Fears had dubbed the “outer dial”) is a hobnail pattern that is first CNC machined and then Rhodium plated, creating a visual aesthetic that is both intricately detailed and elegantly simple.

GLASHÜTTE ORIGINAL

Last but certainly not least, Glashütte Original will have two of the newest stainless steel additions to its Senator Excellence collection on hand for your viewing pleasure: the Panorama Date Moon Phase in both grained silver, and the stunning Frosted Copper — a watch that begs to be taken into the bright Burlingame sun to show off its distinctive sparkle. Speaking of Burlingame sun, you’re not going to want to miss that special beer tasting in our Glashütte Original Biergarten on Saturday, the 26th, from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. We’ll have a handpicked selection of craft beers from Devil’s Canyon Brewery on hand for you to try – the perfect companion to a fine German watch. Prost!

So there you have it – Topper's third annual First Look event is set to kick off, this year on Friday, April 25th at 11am, and runs through Saturday, April 26th at 6pm. As always, we'll be hosting a very special afterparty on Saturday starting at 6, so if you'd like to get yourself on the list (our capacity for this portion of the event is limited), please RSVP here!
